HOW WE FELL FOR CARROT PROPAGANDA

I produced, wrote, shot, edited, and hosted this video for Vox.com

The myth that carrots are good for your eyesight (or even can make you see in the dark) was a piece of propaganda spread by the British Ministry of Information during the Blitz.

Frankly, I have been obsessed with this obscure piece of historical trivia for years now. Honored and delighted to be able to make a video on it for Vox.

And it’s always a good sign if your two expert interviews are a World War 2 propaganda historian and an ophthalmologist.
